    Healthy Day should be factor
    Photos description
Jason Day , from Australia, flips a short pitch onto the 18th green at Torrey Pines where he saved his par to earn a spot in a four-man playoff toward an eventual win at Torrey Pines during the Farmers Insurance Open golf tournament Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, in San Diego.

Jason Day is healthy again. And that should be a concern for much of the field at this year’s Masters Tournament.

The Australian has played in four Masters and has a pair of top-three finishes to his credit. He tied for 20th a year ago, and withdrew in 2012 after an opening 76.

Most recently, Day won the Farmers Insurance Open on Sunday in a four-man playoff. The win vaulted him to No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking, just ahead of countryman and 2013 Masters winner Adam Scott.

Day played with a thumb injury in 2014, and he never broke 70 at Augusta National Golf Club. He was in the mix in 2011 and 2013 only to see heroics from Scott and Charl Schwartzel cost him a chance at slipping on the green jacket.

Australia finally grabbed a Masters trophy in 2013 after many years of futility. Now, with a healthy Day, it doesn’t seem like it will be too long of a wait for another Aussie to win at Augusta.
