Henrik Stenson entered the Masters Tournament with lower expectations after battling the flu this past week, but he reached the point Thursday of being questionable for the rest of the tournament.

“I feel worse and will meet with a doc now,” Stenson said late Thursday, according to SVT Sport’s Thomas Tynander.

Stenson said Tuesday he was happy to just be in Augusta and tee it up in the first round. The world’s No. 2 player appears to still be fighting the effects of the flu.

Stenson shot 1-over-par 73 and is tied for 41st. He finished strong with three consecutive birdies on Nos. 13, 14 and 15 after a double bogey on No. 12.
