Six-year-old Leo Rose has a T-shirt at home that reads “No autographs.”

Clearly, Leo doesn’t understand the meaning of the shirt because while his father, Justin, putted out on No. 9 during the Par-3 Contest, Leo was busy working the autograph line. Leo Rose signed one flag after another for patrons mostly around his age.

“I don’t think he really knew the concept of the autograph,” said Justin, who had trouble keeping up with the number of autographs his son doled out. “He sure enjoyed giving them today. It was interesting that that was the thing he took away from this whole thing. That’s what fascinated him the most, the signings.”

Charlotte Rose, 3, didn’t join her brother in taking advantage of their new-found celebrity status, but Brady Crane, 5, son of Ben Crane, quickly joined in with Leo Rose and worked the crowd.

On several occasions, the duo flipped the script and were asking the patrons if they wanted autographs.

“He’s ready for fame,” Justin Rose said. “He’s a legend in his own mind.”
