Augusta native Mize in good position to make cut

Augusta's Larry Mize, the 1987 Masters Tournament champion, has made the turn at 1-over for the tournament.

Mize is trying to make the cut for the first time since 2009. He's at 1-under for Friday's round through the first nine after he shot a 2-over-74 on Thursday.

Mize missed the cut by one stroke last year, when he finished at 5-over.
