Scott adds Australian taste to Champions Dinner
The Masters Champions Dinner menu was released today, and Tuesday night's meal featured an Australian flair from 2013 winner Adam Scott.
Scott served Australian Wagyu New York Strip with Moreton Bay bugs, sauteed spinach, onion cream mashed potatoes and sherry thyme reduction.
The main course came with artichoke and arugula salad with grilled calamari. There was also strawberry and passion fruit pavlova, anzac biscuit and a vanilla sundae.
Australian wines were also available with the dinner.
The bay bugs were talked about as a possible addition prior to the dinner. They are a species of slipper lobster found in Moreton Bay near Brisbane, where Scott grew up.
