Breaking down the TaylorMade 2012 bag logo

For the past few years, TaylorMade has released a new bag and logo specially for the Masters Tournament. This year, the company kept the tradition alive.

This year's logo celebrates two key anniversaries: Arnold Palmer winning his third green jacket 50 years and Larry Mize's amazing playoff win 25 years ago. Palmer is represented by a "King" chess piece.

For the 1987 Masters, there are three fleurs-de-lis representing the three players who made the playoff - Mize, Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman..

Also, there is a yellow jacket, symbolizing Mize's collegiate career at Georgia Tech. Because it's the Masters, the yellow jacket has been painted green. Get it? The green jacket.

Lastly, there are two flowers representing the two holes where the 1962 and 1987 Masters were won. Palmer won his green jacket on No. 18, also known as Holly. Mize holed out his famous shot on No. 11, aka White Dogwood.
