With all of the talk this week about the hockey rivalry between the U.S. and Canada, it brought back memories of the first Canadian to win the Masters.

Mike Weir got the best of American Len Mattiace in the 2003 Masters

The Canadian women rallied to stun the U.S. women for the gold medal in Olympic hockey on Thursday. Today, the men square off with a spot in Sunday's gold medal game up for grabs.

Weir also was the first left-hander to win the Masters, beating Phil Mickelson to the punch by a year.
