Defending champ Watson teetering on cut line

Defending champion Bubba Watson recovered from a double bogey at No. 12 with four birdies over the next five holes. He failed to get up and down for par at the last, finishing with 73. Watson stands at 4-over for the tournament. 

If Jason Day birdies 18, Watson will be eliminated from the tournament. Day is 6-under through 17 holes.
