Large crowds welcome Guan in third round

Tianlang Guan, the 14-year-old amateur from China, received a loud ovation at the first tee when he started his third round. Throngs of fans, 10 deep along the rope line, came to see the gracious golfer who handled his slow-play penalty with class Friday.

Guan, who made par on the first hole, may have the largest following of any golfer currently on the course.
