Sandwich of the Day: Pimento Cheese

Analysis: If you're coming to the Masters, you absolutely have to try the Pimento Cheese sandwich. It is the Jack Nicklaus of Masters sandwiches, a legend among Masters food.

At less than $2, there's not a better value among golf tournaments. The Pimento Cheese is stuffed with just what it says: Pimento Cheese, between two slices of white bread. The taste has a strong, cheesy flavor - as you would expect. In previous years, the sandwiches had a little bit of a kick. I didn't taste that this year, but that didn't take anything away from the sandwich. The texture is great. The taste is outstanding. And it goes extremely well with a soft drink of your choosing.

Conclusion: Pick up a Pimento Cheese sandwich or two if you're coming to the tournament. Eat one now, save one for later. You won't be disappointed.
