Stenson to focus on putting this week
Henrik Stenson, the No. 3 player in the world, awoke today to see him getting 25-to-1 odds to win the Masters Tournament. He was asked if that was disappointing.
"Massively," he said, laughing.
Stenson said he's focusing on his putting today and Wednesday. The Swedish golfer, who said he's never felt like he's been "firing on all cylinders" in Augusta, has posted three top-20 finishes in eight previous Masters appearances.
"Putting has been a little off the past off weeks, but that's all right," Stenson said, adding a light-hearted response. "Putting's not a big thing around Augusta, right?"
