Tiger Woods impresses with opening nine
Tiger Woods impressed in Monday's first nine holes of his practice round. He birdied No. 1 from inside 10 feet. Woods reached the par-5 second in two. He then hit it tight at Nos. 3 and 4.
Woods hit it close to No. 7.
The biggest thing about the round? Woods seemed to enjoy seeing people. He even fist-bumped a pair of children behind the No. 8 green.
"It was good to be out there with him today," said Mark O'Meara, who played the first nine with him and spoke to Woods for the first time in two years. "Never underestimate Tiger Woods."
