Teen does his fashion homework

Dalton Joyce traveled cross country to see his favorite player, Rickie Fowler, play at Augusta National today.

The 16-year-old from Montgomery, Texas watched from the woods near the 13^th fairway dressed nearly head to toe exactly like Fowler, wearing a lime green Puma shirt and hat, with matching white pants. Coincidence?

“I kind of knew what he was going to wear today from looking at his website (www.rickie-fowler.com),” Joyce said with a laugh.

“I’m just thankful we couldn’t find green shoes and a green belt, or I would have had to get that too,” his father, David Joyce added.

Dalton Joyce was sporting a hairstyle similar to Fowler’s and has a bit of his idol’s game. The sophomore said he shoots in the 70s for the Montgomery High team, and travels home Sunday to compete in the district championship Monday.

“I like Rickie because he’s a good guy and he’s got a good sense of fashion,” Dalton Joyce said. “I like his game because he plays by feel.”
