Former Masters Tournament champion Sergio Garcia will miss the tournament this year after testing positive for COVID-19, he announced on Twitter Monday morning.

Garcia won the tournament in 2017, defeating Justin Rose in a playoff. He entered the tournament with one top-10 finish this year, a win at the Sanderson Farms Championship on Oct. 4.

He said the symptoms began after driving back from Houston on Saturday. Both he and his wife were tested. Here results came back negative.
