Canadians make day trip to Masters
Fifty Canadians, eh?
A trip to Augusta National Golf Club and watching the Masters Tournament is on the bucket list of golfers throughout the world.
Toronto’s Jay Brightman and 49 of his buddies checked the Masters off their list Friday.
“We are all golf nuts,” Brightman said.
And, some might say, plain nuts.
The co-workers with Deloitts rented a private jet Friday that departed Toronto at 7 a.m. The group spent the day watching golf and was scheduled to depart at 8 p.m.
“I’ll be back home by 10 p.m.,” said Brightman, 57. “It’s everybody’s first time to be here. When I walked in you just wanted to kiss the place.”
