Egg salad sandwich worth the drive
Gregg Shipley was given one piece of Masters Tournament advice before leaving Atlanta – and it had nothing to do with the course or players.
“My brother called and all he said was, ‘You better try the egg salad,’” Shipley said. “I’m glad I listened.”
The Georgia native’s first stop was to the concession stand across from the main pro shop, where he bought an egg salad sandwich and a Snickers bar.
“Breakfast for less than $3?” asked Shipley, in awe. “That’s cheaper than what I get at Chick-fil-A.”
He said he planned to return for more egg salad sandwiches as the practice round continued.
“At least two more before I head home,” Shipley said. “OK … probably three.”
