Indiana couple happy to get to see Masters competitors

Watching the biggest names in golf play Augusta Na­tio­nal Golf Club left John and Jennifer Guzman, of Evans­ville, Ind., in awe late Sunday afternoon.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the best golfers in the world on the best course in the world,” John Guzman said.

During their first visit to the Masters, they were happy to watch Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson in person rather than on television.

“Being here while he’s making history at 21 is well worth the trip,” he said about Spieth.

John Guzman liked seeing the golfers play, dreaming that he could swing and putt like they do.

“You want to see what’s possible, but realistically none of that’s possible for me,” he said.
