Mickelson charges to top of leaderboard
Phil Mickelson has recovered nicely from his triple bogey at No. 10 in the first round.
Mickelson began the tournament 4-over through the first 12 holes. Since then, he’s 10-under-par.
The three-time Masters champion, who won each of his green jackets in even-numbered years, is 4-under at No. 13 on the week and 2-under on No. 15.
Mickelson was four back of the lead as he entered the back nine today. He birdied Nos. 10 and 12 before rolling in his 20-foot eagle putt at No. 13.
