Rain in Masters Week forecast?
It could be rainy and cool Masters Week, but don’t grab the umbrellas just yet.
“It’s still a little ways out so there’s a little uncertainly (with the forecast),” said Georgia Climatologist Bill Murphey.
More than a week away, meteorologists are predicting a cool, windy and wet start to the week with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, but it could end warmer and sunny.
“It looks like a good jacket tournament,” Murhey said Thursday.
Any forecast prediction over five to seven days is uncertain and likely to change as weather patterns continue to develop.
Still, the prediction in The 2014 Old Farmer’s Almanac, is similar.
It predicts a few thunderstorms and showers but warm weather from April 3 to 11. Cooler, but sunny, weather will follow at the end of the week.
