Tiger Woods is driven away in a cart after hitting off the 12th tee during the final round of the Cadillac Championship golf tournament on Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Doral, Fla. Woods withdrew from the tournament.

DORAL, Fla. - There was no back-nine charge from Tiger Woods on Sunday at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at the TPC Blue Monster.

A week after Woods blistered PGA National with 62 to finish tied for second in the Honda Classic, Woods barely made it to the back nine on Sunday before withdrawing with an injury to his left leg.

He has had four surgeries on his left knee.

The withdrawal casts some doubt over Woods’ Masters Tournament prospects. He planned to skip this week’s PGA Tour stop in Tampa, Fla., then play at Bay Hill the following week before skipping the Masters prelude in Houston.

Woods was limping after hitting hit his second shot into the water on the 10th hole on Sunday that led to a bogey. He parred No. 11 then told playing partner Webb Simpson he was withdrawing, went to a parking lot, got in a golf cart and headed for the clubhouse. He got in a car, in the driver’s seat. Before driving off, he told a PGA Tour official he had an left leg injury.

Woods, opened with rounds of 72-67-68 and was eight shots off the lead of Bubba Watson.

Woods was 3-over in the final round with eight pars and three bogeys in his 11 holes on Sunday.
