Ray’s Smokehouse BBQ is Full of Smokey Flavor

Jazz up your day with some of the Augusta area's barbecue at Ray's Smokehouse BBQ. Come in and try the smokey flavors of the Mississippi Delta blues and food at this local restaurant. Robert Ray is the owner of Ray's Smokehouse BBQ. Growing up around his uncle's hog farm and barbecuing all his life, Ray's passion for barbecue lead him to open a restaurant. July 4, 2011, Ray opened the barbecue joint, cooking with all his own recipes. "Everything in here has smoke in it," Ray explained. Everything from the baked beans to the chicken is smoked to perfection. "We have a real awesome beef brisket," Ray raved. People have been saying it's the best barbecue in town. Ray can't decide what his favorite items on the menu are. He said it's all good. Don't forget to save room for dessert. All the desserts are home-made and pound cake is a favorite among customers. For the family function or special occasion, ask about the catering options. The establishment also has a website for online ordering at www.rayssmokehousebbq.com, or just come visit Ray's Smokehouse BBQ at 2813 Deans Bridge Road Thursday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The lunch buffet is on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
