Several golfers get early start on Monday practice round

Woods, Cabrera among first to tee off for Monday practice round

Former Masters Tournament champions Tiger Woods, Tom Watson and Angel Cabrera were among several golfers to get an early start this morning on the first practice round day at Augusta National Golf Club.

Woods and traditional practice round partner Mark O'Meara began playing the back nine just before the gates opened. Watson, 54-year-old amateur Randal Lewis and Martin Kaymer did the same at the first tee.

Woods played the front nine with O'Meara and a guest Sunday afternoon.

K.J. Choi, who has posted back-to-back top 10 finishes at Augusta, teed off at No. 1 shortly after Watson and Kaymer.

Lee Westwood, who finished second a year ago, started his practice round at 8:40.

Other golfers already on the course include Jason Day, Kevin Chappell, Ryo Ishikawa, Hideki Matsuyama and Sang-moon Bae.
