Third-round TV ratings increase
CBS Sports announced a major viewership increase for Saturday’s third round of the Masters Tournament.
The CBS coverage earned a 6.5 rating, up 48 percent from last year’s 4.4.
It is the highest third-round rating for the Masters since a 6.8 in 2011. The third-round rating peaked at 7.0 from 5-6 p.m. Saturday.
ESPN also saw viewership increase for the first two rounds, along with a new viewership high for the Par-3 Contest on Wednesday.
